As soon as I turned my back on the abused, littered, and dignity-deprived tourist destination, I saw a magical place of long-forgotten glory and beauty. A place where old streets held even older secrets, and the people I met had colourful stories beneath the hardships of life.

Thirteen years. Twelve edits. One book.

Dark Partition—my fiction novel is almost ready. The light at the end of the tunnel is finally shining bright. It’s been a long, bumpy road that stretched over a decade—thirteen years, to be exact. And yes, the bumpiness got so bad, the book nearly didn’t happen.

My book on Malta’s vanishing soul

Malta, beautiful and rich in history, is vanishing. Dying—that’s the word balancing on the tip of my tongue. The vice of greed and corruption crushes Malta’s throat, squeezing out its soul.

This book is my attempt, a cry for a wake-up call.


Forgotten Boat

I visited my friend in Cornboy and spotted this boat outside Rossport from his kitchen window. That moment made my heart race—it hooked me instantly. So, the boat became my photographic destination for the next five consecutive weeks, alongside a photography project for my friend that later turned into a book. Man… that was a fabulous time.

The trip there would take me almost an hour and forty minutes. Then I’d enjoy a few more hours around the boat before the rising tide reclaimed the strand and pushed me ashore.
